Oxford-Lafayette
Humane Society was originally founded in 1986. The Oxford-Lafayette Humane
Society is a 501(c)3 private, nonprofit corporation governed by a Board of
Directors composed of volunteers from the community who are dedicated to animal
welfare. The Oxford-Lafayette Humane Society is not controlled or funded by any
statewide or national organization. Donations made to national animal welfare
groups do not benefit our local pets. Adopting
a pet from Oxford-Lafayette Humane Society (OLHS) is easy. Take a look at our
pet list to see who is currently available for adoption, and then come by the
shelter to fill-out an adoption application. Adoption applications are
available to download on our website at www.oxfordpets.com. All animals are adopted to approved homes
only. All animals must be spayed or neutered; we make absolutely no exceptions
to this rule. Please note the I.D. number assigned to the animal you wish to
inquire about when calling or e-mailing. Monday through
