Owasso Feline Rescue was founded by Annette Baisden in 1999. We are a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization that rescues felines off the streets, out of shelters, and from individuals. So far, we have done over 9,000 spays and neuters in the Owasso area and about 7,500 adoptions. We strive to teach the importance of spaying and neutering your pet, not only for you but mostly for them. Spaying or neutering a stray cat is a great donation to the pet over-population. Preventing unwanted animals from being born is the only way to avoid unwanted pets.
Our hours are by appointment.
If you are interested in adopting a cat, call 918-688-1661 to set an appointment, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Our adoption donations start at $85.00 for adult cats and kittens. All kittens that haven't been altered will only be adopted to families that live in Tulsa County and the surrounding cities. The cats are spayed/neutered before adoption if they are old enough. If not, the spay/neuter is included in the adoption donation. All cats receive RDCP vaccines, rabies vaccines, worm medicine, flea treatment, and are tested for feline leukemia and feline aids.
Email us at email@example.com. We show our cats at Owasso Petsmart located in Smith Farm Shopping Center. Our cats are fostered in individual homes or at Petsmart until they are adopted. Feel free to drop in anytime during normal stores and say hello our cats on display. Many of our cats are fostered in private homes and we bring them to a venue when an appointment is scheduled. Store hours are Mon-Sat 9am to 9pm and Sunday 10am to 6pm.
NEEDING TO RE-HOME A CAT? All cats requesting to be re-homed must be altered and current on all vaccinations. We also require proof of FELV and FIV testing which much be done 7 business days prior to re-homing the cat. We require a $100.00 donation per cat, which helps pay for care and boarding of the cat until it finds a forever home. We are a non-profit 501c3 organization. Our organization is comprised of volunteers. We do not receive federal or municipal funding. We are often full and only accept cats when space is available. We have many adult cats that are waiting for homes. Younger cats tend to be adopted sooner, leaving the older ones still waiting. They all deserve a forever home and we are working hard to find them for our "old-timers".
Thanks for visiting Owasso Feline Rescue. We are currently looking for volunteers age 18 and older. If you have a little free time, we would love to have you as a volunteer!
