Hi my name is Chippy and I am one of the very special kitties living with a Foster home through Oreo's. You see, I tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). So what this means for me is that I need a wonderful loving home that will take care of me even tho I have FIV. I am quite a cuddler and will sit on your lap for hours and hours. I talk a lot so I will keep you company. For more information on FIV please go to this website http://www.vet.cornell.edu/fhc/brochures/fiv.html
I am neutered, vaccinated and FeLv negative. Please call 218-591-7200 or email email@example.com for info on me.
About our Organization
Oreo's is an ALL-VOLUNTEER Minnesota non-profit organization (501(c)(3) filed) whose primary purpose is to provide adoption services for stray, abandoned, and surrendered cats/kittens who may be difficult to place through traditional shelter settings. Our goal is to find safe, permanent, loving homes for as many felines as possible regardless of the reason they are homeless.
As often as possible, we assist our local city shelter by rescuing cats/kittens who are about to be euthanized because of overcrowding in the shelter (a constant and horrific circumstance). We are strongly against the senseless act of euthanasia of adoptable animals. These kitties end up this way through no fault of their own and deserve that second chance that our volunteers and foster families can give them.
Oreo's does not have a shelter. We rely on foster homes to assist us in finding permanent, loving homes for our kitties. All of our kitties are fostered by caring individuals and families to help them adjust to family life and make the adjustment into their "forever homes" as easy as possible.
We are NOT funded and rely on the contributions of the compassionate.
We are always in need of additional funds. If you are interested in making a donation, or sponsoring one of our kitties, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 218591-7200. A $10 donation can feed one kitty for a week. A $15 donation pays for cat litter. A $35 donation gets one kitty neutered. We appreciate any and all donations - 100% of donations go to the care of the animals.
How to Meet our Kitties
As all of our lovely felines are in foster care INSTEAD OF CAGES, please email or call us to arrange for a showing. It's an easy and relaxed way to meet a furry friend! We are very flexible - we can even bring the kitty to you! Contact us at email@example.com or call 218-591-7200 to set up a meeting.
How to Adopt
All our cats and kittens are dewormed, up-to-date on shots, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Our kitties have also been tested for feline leukemia. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $75; the adoption fee for kittens is $95. These fees help defray the costs incurred by Oreo's for each kitty.
To get an adoption application please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 218-591-7200.

Please consider making a donation to Oreo's. The fact is ... the more money we can raise, the more kitties we can save. Unfortunately, it truly comes down to dollars and cents. YOU can be directly responsible for saving a kitty's life. Every contribution is greatly appreciated and 100% of every donation goes directly to the care of our kitties. Your donation is tax-deductable. To donate to Oreo's you can send a check or money order to our address below. We also accept donations of unopened cat food, litter, and other supplies - contact us to make arrangements to drop off your donation.

We are in desperate need of FOSTER HOMES & VOLUNTEERS!
Everyone is busy, time is precious, and fostering is an emotional experience in more ways than one. We know how hard it can be to break the bonds after your foster kitty finds its permanent, loving home. We also know the plentiful rewards fostering brings. If you can find it in your heart to take in one of our rescued kitties, PLEASE contact us. The number of innocent lives we can save depends on how many foster homes we can find. We provide support and help with supplies. EVERY FOSTER HOME IS ANOTHER KITTY SAVED.
Volunteers are the backbone of this rescue. Without them, we just couldn't help the kitties we do! If you will help us, in any way, please contact us. One person volunteering a couple hours a month can make a dramatic difference in a rescue mission. Again, we are an all-volunteer rescue without funding.
A Special Welcome!
A very special welcome to our newest foster Mom and Dad, Cindy and Mike. Thank you for sharing your heart and home with our kids. They wouldn't have a chance without loving, caring people like you. We know how much you care - if we didn't do this, who would?
*** THANKS CINDY AND MIKE ... You are doing a fabulous job! The kitties appreciate you, and so do we! ***
