News
September 13 and 14 we will be having a lowcost spay/neuter clinic at the Okmulgee Animal Shelter. To apply, come by the shelter, 1239 N. Okmulgee, Mon. - Friday., 9am to 1pm to fill out a form. Please bring verification of household income. To qualify, your household must have a total annual gross income of $35,000 or less. Sign up early as our slots fill up very fast.
Who We Are
We are comprised of a small group of volunteers who work at the Okmulgee Animal Shelter to adopt shelter animals and to work with the community in finding lost pets, placing animals outside of the shelter, and to assist in any way we can with the care and well being of animals.
Volunteers are available at the shelter Mon. - Fri.. 9am to 1pm.

Adopting a friend
Our dog adoptions fee is $60, $100, or $125. The purpose of our fee schedule is to make the more common, large mix breed dogs more attractive for adoption. The higher fees are for small and purebred dogs. The fee increase will help to supplement revenue for medical and other expenses. We also require you sign a contract
