We have no spay/neuter clinics scheduled. We can, however, offer you alternatives through other low cost programs.
Who We Are
Hi there and welcome to the Okmulgee Humane Society. We are comprised of a small group of volunteers who work at the Okmulgee Animal Shelter to adopt shelter animals and to work with the community in finding lost pets, placing animals outside of the shelter, and to assist in any way we can with the care and well being of animals. We are in dire need of volunteers, so if you have one day each week to spare we could really use your help to answer the phone and show the pets currently in the shelter.
Volunteers are available at the shelter Mon. - Fri.. 9am to 1pm.

Adopting a friend
Our dog adoptions fee is $60, $100, or $125. The purpose of our fee schedule is to make the more common, large mix breed dogs more attractive for adoption. The higher fees are for small and purebred dogs. The fee increase will help to supplement revenue for medical and other expenses. We also require you sign a contract
