About Us
,
All potential adopters complete a pet profile form to aid us in helping choose a proper pet for their lifestyle and environment. All approved adopters must sign an adoption agreement promising to provide a permanent home for this pet. All pets must be microchipped and spay or neutered at the appropriate age or within 2 weeks of adoption. To ensure proper placement, Rescue Me, Inc. follows up on each adoption. If for any reason the pet must be re-homes, the pet MUST be retured to Rescue Me, Inc.
What started as a single person trying to aid in the solution of cat overpopulation back in 1972 has grown to become what we are today. Rescue Me, Inc is a non-profit, NO KILL, all animal rescue run strictly by unpaid volunteers and funded by donations.
All our animals are housed in foster homes where they get the daily interaction of a home life. In order for us to take in any additional animals, the ones in our system need to find their forever homes first. However, we do have hopes in the near future of a small kennel building.
Due to a couple bad experiences, we no longer do out of state adoptions.
We are always in need of qualified volunteers and foster homes, as well as donations.
