Okay, everyone, kitten season is in full swing (or high gear); take your pick. But, kitten mania means that are beautiful adults sit! We have several adults available for adoption including Persians, Maine Coons and Siamese. Why adopt an adult? There are several reasons including:
NOAH Adoption Center
Saturday, August 30, 2008 NOAH is an all volunteer, no-kill, non-profit 501c3 feline rescue group. We strive to provide a safe haven for the homeless, abandoned, stray cats and kittens we rescue. Would you help us defray medical and other temporary sheltering costs for the kittens during our peak season with a tax deductible donation? Any amount will help NOAH feed and shelter cats and kittens while they wait to be adopted. NOAH is still looking for more foster homes for this peak kitten season. We will have lots of baby kittens and nursing moms that need a safe and loving environment until they are old enough for a forever home. NOAH will provide food and medical care and you provide the love. If you would like to foster, contact Linda at 508-386-3729 or noahcats@aol.com.
NOAH often has openings at PetSmart for volunteers to clean and feed in the morning. Evening volunteers are needed to feed and help with adoptions. If you can help, please call Linda at 508-386-3729. All NOAH cats and kittens are medically up to date and ready to find their forever homes. All NOAH kittens are spayed or neutered before adoption. If you are interested in any of our animals, please fill out an application on line and be ready to adopt your pet at PetSmart. Bring cash or a check (no credit cards) and a carrier for the ride home.

Occasionally, we need foster homes for adults. If you can open your heart and home to give a homeless cat a chance toward finding a forever home, we need your help.
We are also looking for volunteers for a variety of NOAH tasks that may be done at various times during the week or even just once a year. If you have some time to give NOAH, please contact Linda at 508-386-3729 or email: noahcats@aol.comPlease help us continue to respond as a non-profit rescue group for cats! Our day to day costs for food, litter and medical care are financed by your donations and our adoption fees. Since February 5, 2005, we've placed nearly 2.200 homeless or abandoned cats and kittens in loving forever homes.

Last year, we cared for several cats who needed surgical amputations. All have had surgery, recoved and been adopted.
In 2005, we cared for and then placed ten leukemia positive cats and kittens. We fostered a ten year old purebred Somali with urinary tract issues and a two-year-old FIV+ female who were both adopted early in February, 2006. Another FIV+ adult female was placed in June of 2007 after 6 months in a NOAH foster home. We cared for Burberry (above), who has a heart condition, until he found a forever home on September 1, 2005. Burberry will continue to be our poster child for this fund. Kudos to Linc Keene who donated his time and patience to photograph Burberry.
