URGENT DONATIONS NEEDED BY MAMAS SHELTER IN BAMBERG S.C.
As many of you know, we rescue most of our dogs from MAMAS shelter in Bamberg, S.C. This great little shelter is located in one of the most economically depressed areas of our nation. Sadly Bamburg County lacks funds to support the shelter. With an average of 100 dogs housed at MAMAS, the situation is beyond critical.

Hi All, I'm "Sahara" a gentle, timid girl, who adores playing outside. I lie down peacefully inside, am housebroken, & not destructive when left alone. I am crate trained too. I came from a rural setting, probably lived outside in a hunter's kennel, so I was very timid when I first arrived. Thankfully, a wonderful dog behaviorist helped me acclimate to suburban life, & taught me basic commands. Although I am very relaxed in my own home, I'm still shy in new situations. Yet my sweet & gentle disposition shines through. All I need now is the kindness of a loving family to love. I sure hope someone finally offers me a peaceful home, with a yard, & a playful dog to keep me company. My affection & kind eyes will reward you "ten fold". .
ADOPTION FEE: $200 Untrained Dogs; $300 Trained Cell Dogs (Trained by Prison Inmates in basic obedience)
Adoption fees cover the cost of spay, neuter, medicating, & caring for dogs. Without charging a fee we could not afford to do our work. We spend thousands of dollars a year keeping our dogs healthy & ready for adoption. In contrast, County shelters get tax-payer funding & large corporate donations so they can afford to let their animals go for a lower fee. We thank you for your understanding.
PLEASE CONSIDER ADOPTING A BLACK DOG.
They are the last to be chosen & most get euthanized, even pups like this get left behind and eventually must be euthanised or they would spend their lives behind bars! Foster homes are needed!
