We will be hosting our first annual 5k Race to Rescue on June 9th at Nay Aug Park in Scranton PA.
The 5k Race to Rescue is used as a way to raise awareness and funds for abused and neglected pit bulls. Many of the dogs we rescue and rehome have faced neglect, abuse or both before coming to us. It is very important to our mission to raise awareness as well as funds to better help those in need.

Adopting A Friend
Our adoption process requires an adoption application, reference check, home visit, meet and greet. Upon approval a $200 adoption fee and signed adoption contract is required.
Who We Are
NEPA Avail-a-bullies is a rescue program offered by the Luzerne County Pit Bull Owners Group. We are a group of individuals that are very passionate about educating and asssiting not only pit bull owners but the general public. In addition to education and assistance we have our NEPA Avail-A-Bullies program for the purpose of rehoming these wonderful dogs into responsible, loving adoptive homes.
Luzerne County Pit Bull Owners, Inc. also known as LCPO is a 501 (c) 3 non profit, volunteer run organization. We serve PA, NJ, NY, OH and surrounding areas based on our discretion.
