Our Pet List

Our Featured Pet

Leroy

Le Roy. Le Roi. The King! Looking for his throne.

He is the man about town.
Confident and curious. Big, bold and pretty darn handsome! Petting: love that. Food: bring it on! Carrying? No thanks. Unless there is a destination with food involved. He likes all four feet on the ground. Unless there is a lap involved and he chooses it!

Leroy is FIV positive and getting passed over because of it. Please give him the chance at the happiness he deserves.

Who We Are

Neighborhood Cats was formed in 1999 to create an awareness of the severe feral cat overpopulation crisis and
to promote and establish trap-neuter-return (TNR) as the most humane and effective method of solving this
problem in New York City. We focus on educating those interested in helping feral cats and advancing
TNR as the preferred solution to controlling feral cat reproduction. Through our comprehensive website and
online TNR courses, we have broadened our scope to reach people throughout the country and beyond.
Our ultimate goal is to substantially reduce the number of cats born and living on every city's streets.

Adopting a Friend

See our PET LIST for an opportunity to give a home to one of the many formerly homeless felines we've taken in for adoption.
