Who we are and what we do.

NCSBR pups
We are the NC Saint Bernard Rescue. We are a small group of volunteers who devote most - if not all of our free time - to proving hope to Saint Bernards in the NC/SC region. Not only do we volunteer but we also have families and real jobs too.

We are not affiliated with any regional or national organization, it's just us. We try and help as many Saints as possible but sadly we simply cannot offer safe refuge for all.

We will accept applications for surrender as space and finances allow but please understand, we are limited by not only space and finances, but also the physical and emotional demands of running a rescue.

If you have or know of a Saint Bernard or Golden Retreiver that is in need of rescue, please contact us at this address:

Featured Pet of the Month

Meet Dolly, she's a 1 and a half year old long hair splash coated Saint. She is a typical lady saint, laid back and enjoyin' life.

Dolly is a wonderful girl, she plays well with other dogs, cats, small children, even teenagers!

See Dolly's online bio for more information and pictures.

The next step in adopting Dolly (or any of the other Saints available) is to complete the free on-line adoption application.

In the News - Donations

Our highlight is on donations. Not just money, which by the way is always welcome, but even something like a blanket or even a towel. Maybe you're just are not sure what you can do for these gentle giants. Please contact us and let's find out together!

If you would like to help please email us: saintrescuenc@yahoo.com

Other items we presently need are:
  • large crates - remember we crate train all saints before they can be adopted.
  • dog toys - large rope toys, kongs, balls
  • treats - who doesn't like a treat now and again?
  • bedding - Now here's a use for that blanket in the closet besides using it when Uncle Joe comes to visit!
  • Money - what can we say? Money makes the world go around, and helps pay the vet bills, too.

This link is for anyone interested in making a donation directly to NCSBR. If you can, please help offset some of the costs incurred in fostering these saints. Using the following paypal encrypted link ensures your safety and security.

Thanks for helping these wonderful dogs!.
