Who We Are
Nationwide Boston Terrier Rescue, Inc. is made up of volunteers across the United States who all feel that adoptions and rescue should not be limited to particular areas. We have active members in many states who share a common goal........helping, comforting and finding new homes for Boston Terriers anywhere in the United States and Canada.
We help Boston Terriers by giving them any vet care that they need. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, current on all their shots including bordetella, heartworm tested, treated if necessary and all are on heartworm preventative and flea preventative. We also check for intestinal parasites/worms and treat when necessary. We do require an adoption donation for each dog to help offset veterinary costs.
Adopting a friend
All of our dogs are in foster homes with our members and are brought in and socialized within our family groups. This way we are better able to evaluate their personalities, likes and dislikes so we can share these with potential adopters in an attempt to find perfect matches and perfect homes. We do not have a central adoption facility and since all our volunteers have to have real jobs, sometimes it may take us a few days to return your email inquiries.
We have several volunteers who, for a fee, are able to fly your new dog to you onboard an
airplane in a soft sided Sherpa bag to you.
We also sometimes can arrange ground transport for your new friend.
We transport onboard exclusively with Sherpa products generously donated by the Sherpa Bag Co. (
www.sherpapet.com).
All our adoptions are done by application. Please contact us and we will be happy to send you one. Also, each foster Mom and her email address is listed in the dog's bio. Please feel free to email her with any questions you may have about a dog in her care. She can give you the most updated information on her "foster kid" and can help you make the decision as to which dog is best suited for you and your lifestyle. We do require a homevisit prior to an adoption being finalized.
