Miracles With Paws is now holding adoption days at the Petco at 1333 Centennial Ave in Piscataway. Dates are added to our events page as soon as they are confirmed with the store. We could really use some volunteers to meet us there and help handle the dogs. Adoption days are on Sundays and run from 11::30 until 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. Please shoot us an email if you are interested in helping with the dogs.
NEXT ADOPTION DAY IS Sunday February 12th ,2011 AT PETCO FROM 11:30 UNTIL 2. Dogs attending are:Suzie's pups, Dolly, Deedee and Dexter, Cinci, Dusty and maybe more! . No dogs can go home on the same day unless you have filled out an application and it has been approved. If you are interested in one of our dogs, please send us an email and an application form will be forwarded. We are in the process of creating a new website where the app will be immediately available, but in the meantime we appreciate your patience.
WE ARE IN NEED OF DRY FOOD, MAINLY PUPPY, BLANKETS AND PAPER TOWELS. ANY DONATIONS CAN BE DROPPED OFF AT OUR ADOPTION DAYS OR SEND US AN EMAIL AND WE CAN ARRANGE TO PICK THEM UP.
Adopting A Friend
If you see a dog you are interested in, the first step towards adoption is completing our application. Send us an email requesting an app and we will send it to you. We are working on a form that will be accessable from our home page. Once the completed application is returned to us, we will review it. If you appear to be a good match for dog, we will contact you and set up an appointment for the dog to meet the whole family. All of our dogs are in foster care, so there is no shelter, or facility for you to come to to see the dogs. Arrangements are made through the Foster Mom
Please note that emails are given preference over phone calls. All of our volunteers work and it is not always possible to return calls during the day. Emails, however, can be answered at night when it would be too late to return your call.
Who We Are
MISSION STATEMENT - To rescue, rehab, restore to health and rehome dogs in need.
We are a small, but dedicated, group of volunteers with many years of experience working in shelters and various rescue groups. In 2009 we decided to incorporate as Miracles With Paws. That same year we were granted our Federal 501(c)3 non-profit status. All of our animals are in private homes being fostered. For many of the dogs, this is the first time they will experience being part of the family. We take in dogs from high kill shelters, from people who can no longer care for the dog and from the puppy mills of Missouri when the breeders dump the animals they no longer consider proftitable. We foster dogs of all ages, and are currently looking to add one or two new foster homes in the Middlesex area.
