In addition, there are other available dogs in nearby states, so feel free to contact us if you are interested in adopting a rescue Italian Greyhound . Indiana currently has quite a few available dogs, so please check them out.
You can be pre-approved as well so please fill out an application as that will speed up the adoption process when a dog that fits your lifestyle comes into rescue.
Who We Are and How to Adopt
Michigan IG Rescue is affiliated with the Italian Greyhound Club of America and follows their adoption guidelines. These guidelines include asking a prospective adopter to comple an application, provide a vet reference, pass a home check and personal interview. IG's are not the right dog for every home, but for the right home they are a delightful companion.
You will find information about the adoption procedures on the IGCA website as well as a wealth of information about Italian Greyhounds so you can see if an Italian Greyhound is the right dog for you and your lifestyle.
