NOTICE: I have closed the rescue down because of a lack of Foster Homes, and my continuing health issue's. Hopefully I can reopen in a couple months or so. We are not accepting Labs for re-homing nor do I have any Lab's for adoption at this time.. Once we have the number of Foster homes needed, and my health improves we will begin accepting owner turn-in's and shelter Labs. If you are interested in finding out about how to become a Foster Home for us, contact us for an application. Thank you.........Bob - President and Founder
One thing we are certain of. We can not have a successful rescue without the help of Foster homes to place these Labs in while they wait for their forever home. Please help us and open your home and heart to these wonderful pets.
We have been a rescue for Labrador Retriever's since 2002. We need foster homes to take unwanted and abandoned Labs into their hearts and homes while waiting for an adoptive "forever" home. (If you are interested in providing a foster home for a rescued Lab please contact us at the e-mail below.) Additionally, cash donations, dog food, bedding, crates, leashes, collars, and heavy-duty chew toys are always welcome, and are tax deductable.

Who We Are
We are an all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) Labrador Retriever rescue whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find forever homes for dogs from high kill shelters and some owner turn-in's. Please understand that we are a small organization dedicated to big results..Although we do not have the financial backing or facilities of larger rescues, our animals are well cared for and deserve a good home. We generally do accept owner turn-in's, but require that the dog is purebred and not a biter.
There are so many neglected and abused Labrador Retrievers in shelters that we knew we had to establish an organization in Middle Tennessee for them to be rehabilitated, both physically and mentally. All our dogs are healthy to the best of our knowledge, comfortable with human kindness, and evaluated for temperament before being offered for adoption. All of our dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, heartworm tested if over 6 months and on heartworm and flea and tick preventative. Lab's we pull from shelters are kept at our rescue for at least 2 weeks before they are available for adoption to ensure they are free from common diseases. If you find that an animal is not for you, it is stated in our contract that you may return the dog for a refund of the adoption fee within the time period stated. As stated in the contract, you are required to return the dog to us if you can no longer keep the animal.
As a nonprofit Labrador Retriever Rescue organization we do our best to judge the breed we have rescued, using the AKC Breed Standard as a guide for body composition, color, and temperament. Since these animals are rescued, rarely do they come with AKC papers or breed confirmation papers.
