Adopting A Friend
Cats listed as "MAPS" (Marshfield Area Pet Shelter) in this website are adopted from the Pet Motel and placed into foster care. MAPS cats are vet checked, FeLK/FIV tested, given rabies and distemper vaccinations and flea treated. In some cases, they are spayed or neutered. Adoption donation is as listed.
Who We Are
The Marshfield Pet Motel houses stray cats that are picked up by Marshfield Ordinance Control. Stray cats come from Marshfield, and the towns and townships of McMillan, Rock, Spencer, Day and Lincoln.
Stray dogs are housed at a boarding facility near Marshfield for 8 days. If the owner does not claim them in that time, the dogs are transferred to South Wood Co Humane Society.
