I would like to thank everyone who has adopted a new member of their family from us. I wanted everyone to know we are taking a break on rescuing, it has been getteing harder to let them go. Our kids can not take anymore heartbreak right now. Hopefully we will be back after our break.
WHO WE ARE
We are not a shelter. We do not have a facility that houses our animals. We ar a family based rescue. All the animals that are brought into our home are well socialized with animals, adults and kids. They our treated like a member of our family until their forever home is found. They are able to run and play and feel loved. We start on their training and work towards making them more adoptable.
Our mission:
Melissa's little angels is a no kill rescue for unwanted, neglected and adused pets in a faily setting until they have found their forever home. We provide endless love, belly rubs, a warm bed, a full belly and plenty of fresh, clean water.
If you would like to help animals, but can not adopt now, you can become a foster parent. If you are interested in becoming a foster parent please email me and put foster parent in the subject line.
Donations are always needed:
Our adoption fees are based on the fees from the shelter and the vetting of that animal. We welcome families with children young and old. We feel that a dog or cat can be a childs best friend.
Visiting the animals listed is by appointment only.
