WE STILL HAVE MANY TORNADO VICTIMS THAT WERE IN THEIR MAMAS' WOMBS AT THE TIME.
We are a small non-profit group recognized by the State of Missouri & the Department of Agriculture; a handful of friends with a common goal: to help as many homeless pets as possible by providing veterinarian & foster care, spaying/ neutering and finding a loving home where they can be happy forever. We do not have a shelter per se, only a few foster homes
We have been in the animal welfare field for 17+ years in the 4-State area, volunteering at area shelters, rescuing, nursing, fostering, and finding homes for many needy pets, young and old. We organized fundraisers and volunteered in many events to help homeless critters
Since pet personality varies we try to find the right match and when that doesn't occur, will take the adopted pets back and re-home them as needed. Happy families & happy pets = perfect formula
The founder of the group, Bea Caviglia, participated in several seminars and workshops presented by the Humane Soc. of the United States & ASPCA in different States, covering subjects as: pet health, behavior, disaster planning, humane and environmental education and others. She has also been involved with the Petfinder team for many years.

On behalf of our foster pets, MANY THANKS for any contributions in these tough times. We try to rescue as many homeless pets as possible so we operate working part-time in other fields and by donations only, not receiving funds from any entity.
Several VETERINARIAN REFERENCES can be sent upon request. FeLV/FIV tests (cats) and Heartworm tests (dogs) as well as fecal exams and vaccinations are done before a pet goes up for adoption. We spent significant amounts of money to bring pets to health after rescuing from shelters or abuse, neglect, accidents or common health issues.Donations for vet care can be sent to::

PLEASE HELP US SAVE MORE INNOCENT LIVES Our Adoptable Pet List
WE HAVE HELPED 3,929 homeless pets since our humble beginnings in 2005.amp We FOUND LOVING HOMES for 2,756 dogs & cats and we worked with other reputable rescue groups outside MO to find homes for 603 of the pets we were not able to help in our area. We have ALSO COMBO TESTED/SPAYED & NEUTERED/∓ amp; RELEASED 570 WILD CATS that live in different colonies around our region, with neighbors that provide food & shelter in warm barns in the countryside, protected from the weather & predators.
We rescue pets mainly from overcrowded area shelters and pets that have been abandoned/ neglected/abused or have been the innocent victims of natural disasters.
Several cats/kittens can be seen at PetLand -Joplin during the week; other kitties and the pups/dogs can be seen during Saturday mobile adoptions or by appointment through email.
We do mobile adoptions at PetLand (7th St.) & we post our pets on our website
We have been working at maximum capacity so we BEG you to SPAY or NEUTER your pets: ONLY answer to pet overpopulation. Thousands of nice, healthy but unwanted pets are euthanized each year in shelters around our area - THERE ARE NO HOMES FOR ALL, regardless how big the shelters or the rescue groups are.
