Please Note: NO animal adopted from Lost Fantasy is to be used for breeding! If you are looking for a horse to breed please consider going to a private owner or to a local horse sale to purchase your next horse as most reputable horse rescues have a strict NO BREEDING policy in place and do active follow up to ensure that that condition is being met and that no more new horses are being added to the already overburdened horse population.

Meet Sarge!

Sarge is a beautiful Dutch Shepherd boy who was dumped into our high kill shelter where he was certain to die because nobody was interested in the tiny ugly puppy that cowered in the back of the cage with his equally terrified siblings. Now Sarge has grown up to be a beautiful sweet loving boy who really wants a home of his own for the holidays. Can you be his forever family? Sarge is good with other dogs and children but WILL chase cats if given the chance....

Who We Are

We are a small 501(c)(3) rescue operated by volunteers. All monies donated go directly to the care of the animals. Our animals come from sales, private owners, and sometimes even from classified ads. Every animal is given lots of individual attention and love before they are adopted out to their "forever" family.

Horses $100-$800

  • Gelding (if necessary)

  • Shots (including Rabies & Tetnus)

    • Dogs $125

  • Spay/Neuter
  • Age appropriate shots (DHLPP)
  • Rabies (over 4 months of age)
  • Heartworm test (over 1 yr of age)

  • Age appropriate shots (FVRCP & FeLv)

    Fundraising!

    LFSAR is currently working with different programs to raise funds to feed and care for the animals in rescue. We are doing a cell phone fundraising program, FoodLion Shop&Share program, Amazon.com, Ebay auctions, and Country Supply Care program. All the programs can be seen on our website. We also collect Legends horse feed seals which we can redeem for cash for the rescue! All donations are greatly appreciated and tax deductable!
