Who Are We?
Little Angels Rescue is a "no kill", non-profit 501c3 private rescue organization based in Arcadia, Florida. We specialize mainly in small dogs, both purebreds and mixes. All of our "little angels" are treated as family until we can find them the perfect "forever" home.
When To Visit?
Since we are a private rescue, we are not open to the general public. Many of our Little Angels are in foster homes in various areas. All prospective Adoptive Parents will be welcome to come and visit the "Little Angels" after an application and home visit are completed and they have been approved. We will contact you to schedule an appointment and give you directions to the location of the dog you are interested in.
Adopting A Little Angel
Most of the dogs in our rescue program have been through some type of turmoil, such as abuse, neglect, or simply that the previous owner couldn't take care of them any longer. Unfortunately many dogs end up in shelters because of over-breeding. Therefore, it is up to the rescuers to make sure we find the best "forever" homes for each dog in our care. Sometimes, we end up with several people interested in the same dog. Needless to say, we can't make everyone happy but LAR does the best it can for the dogs in our care. Please keep this in mind when applying to adopt specific dogs.All our dog are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested, up to date with shots, and evaluated before they are placed. The adoption donations cover these expenses and assist with the costs caring for the new dogs as they come into our rescue program.. Without these donations it would not be possible to continue to saving other Little Angels. All donations are tax deductible and benefit Little Angels Rescue - solicitation #CH13087.

Volunteers Needed
Little Angels Rescue is always in need of volunteers throughout the state who can assist with transports, home visits, events, and more. Foster homes are especially needed in DeSoto, Charlotte, Lee and Sarasota counties.
