LUKE
PLEASE CONSIDER ME!!!
Luke's mom had the merle look of an Australian Shep with long legs but a shorter coat. He is black and glossy with a few dots of merle. He was born January of 2007, is neutered, microchipped, UTD on shots, wormed, tested negative for heartworm and lymes and is ready for his new home. Good natured, fun loving and active, he is doing well with housetraining when taken out in a timely manner. Luke is not able to handle being crated, but can be tethered in a safe place away from chewable items. He loves being with people, other dogs and is accustomed to cats. He also LOVES water!!! Please consider giving this young man a home of his own. Training DVD included in adoption.

Who We Are
We are a small group of volunteers working to save unwanted pets. We are a no-kill rescue and our animals live at our homes until we find their forever home. Additional foster homes means saving additional lives - please consider being a part of our group.
Adopting a friend
We attempt to have our animals altered before being placed. If for some reason this cannot happen in a timely manner, we require a spay/neuter contract with a $50 deposit that is refunded upon receipt of a statement of altering from your veterinarian.
The adoption Process:
1. Fill out a pre-adoption application (above) and email it to us for approval, stating which pet you are interested in.
2. After preliminary approval the foster familly may request to visit your home
3. We do check references.4. After application approval we set a time for you to meet the pet (s) of your choice at a time convenient to both foster family and you.
Volunteering
Foster homes are always needed and you do not have to live in our area to foster for us. You would play an important role in caring for the dog/cat, screening potential adopters (help available) and placing the animal in her/his forever home. If you are interested in fostering please email us.
We also need help cleaning crates, transporting, and putting up adoption posters from time to time. Some of our dogs live out of doors and if you or someone you know can build insulated dog houses and donate them to the foster homes it would insure comfortable housing. Collecting kennel panels, igloos, usable blankets, collars, leashes and other dog items and donating them would be helpful as well.
