| Welcome to Project S.A.F.E. Eastern Kentucky Animal Welfare League. We are a non-profit organization that relies on donations, adoption fees, and fundraising. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for homeless animals where each will be treated with kindness and respect, to protect the animals of the community from abuse and neglect and to educate its citizens with information concerning responsible ownership. Most animals end up in shelters not because they were less than ideal but because their owners were.

| Each year countless amounts of animals meet their demise at the local county shelter because they fail to find a family who will give them a second chance on life. We are striving to lessen the number by fostering these animals in our own homes. We are currently looking for Foster Families and Volunteers in the area. This is Poca. Poca is a very sweet and cuddly girl. She is very small about 2 pounds and approx. 7 mo old. She gets along well with all other animals and needs you to give her a forever home. If you would like to give this gift to Poca please contact us. |

If you or someone you know is interested in adopting a dog, cat, puppy, or kitten please contact us at the number listed below. Animals are adopted for a donation and include their first shots, worming, and ear mite treatment. Whenever possible we try to have our adoptable pets spayed or neutered before adoption. |
