Good News! The shelter came to an agreement with the 3 counties it services and will continue to serve these communities. Check back often as we have many events planned for the upcoming months as well as our "Dog Days of Summer" Fundraiser planned for the last half of July.
Who We Are
We are a small, privately owned shelter located in Rockholds, Kentucky. We are currently contracted with Knox and Whitley counties to fulfill their animal shelter needs. McCreary county is also wanting to contract, giving us a 3 county service area.
Adopting a friend
We always have a wide variety of dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens for adoption at the shelter. Adoption fees for dogs, cats, and puppies is $55.00 and for kittens $35.00. All adoption fees include a voucher for spay/neuter.
Traveling South from Corbin:
Take Hwy 26 to Hwy 6
Turn Left onto Hwy 6
Cross the railroad tracks and go about 1 mile
Stay to the Right at Woodbine Volunteer Fire Dept. (Hwy 1064)
Go about 3.5 miles
