Who We Are: We are a no-kill, non-profit group. We do our best to find loving homes for the animals that come into our care with the hope that some day there will be "no more homeless pets". All cats stay with us until they find their home. Some have the status of PRRs (Permanent Rescue Residents) because they have been with us long term and have not been adopted for various reasons.
Mission: To help/protect kitties in need, whether stray or feral, and to match the right home to the right cat(s). Spaying and neutering is an important aspect of our rescue. No animal in our care is adopted before they are spayed or neutered. We hope to educate as many people as we can about the benefits of spaying/neutering for the cats' sake as well as the benefits to the community. Adopting a friend: The first step is to fill out our application. Then we will set up a time for you to meet the kitty. If kitty and you like one another, we will do a reference check, and a home visit. Then upon acceptance of cat to person and person to cat, a contract will be signed. Then kitty can go home! Adopting a cat is an awesome experience. With this guardianship comes a lot of responsibilities and the reward is many years of living with and loving this wonderful animal. The adoption fee is $90.00. All cat/kittens are tested for FIVFeLV. They are checked for parasites, given flea treatments, are up to date with their shots, and all are spayed or neutered. There are special rates for adopting a special needs kitty, two together, or an older cat and we also have special rates for senior citizens. We do not receive any money from governments or agencies. The adoption fee does not cover our expenses for the cats, so donations are always welcomed.
