Adoption Events

We will be holding our adoption event this Saturday, November 22nd from 11am-4pm at the RegencyPetsmart. Please contact us with any questions at scapasso00@yahoo.com.. (If you are interested in seeing a specific dog/cat at our adoption location, please send us an email towards the end of the week or call Regency Petsmart the day of adoptions! Please understand that we are limited on space at our locations so we are unable to show all of our adoptable pets at one time.)

Do you have a dog or cat that needs to find a home?

At this time, we ARE NOT accepting any new animals. But, we CAN STILL HELP! If YOU are willing to FOSTER the animal in your home, we will show the animal on the weekends and our website. Once adopted through us, we will ALWAYS take the animal back (if the home didn't work out). Please understand, it DOES take time to find homes. We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they 
are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our

4. Shop at Hannah's Great Dog Store by clicking on the link. With every purchase from Hannah's Great Dog Store, 10% of the purchase price will be donated to K & C Pet Rescue for the care of our shelter residents.

5. Save up used printer cartridges (print &/or laser) and old/unused cell phones. Then, bring them up to the Regency Square Petsmarts on Saturday from 11am-6pm to drop them off to a K & C volunteer. Your trash will earn us cash!!

Who We Are

K & C Pet Rescue and Adoption Society is a small no-kill shelter founded in 1977 by Kay Timmerman. We are dedicated to finding the best new homes possible for our adoptable treasures. K & C supports and encourages the spay and neuter of all pets! We operate 100% from donations and volunteers. We are a 501C3 charity and registered with the state of Florida. ALL donations are tax deductable. PLEASE DONATE TODAY! Adopting a Friend Procedure Adopting a friend is EASY!! An application, applcation approval, home visit, and an adoption fee ($85-$200) is required. We only adopt out to families that live in Jacksonville, Floirda and surrounding areas. Come visit us at the Regency Petsmart in Jacksonville, Florida. We are there on Saturdays from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm. You can email us at scapasso00@yahoo.com. Can't Adopt??

Even if you can't adopt a pet, we can STILL use your help. We are in desperate need of the following: volunteers, foster homes, wet dog & cat food, rawhides, toys, metal food and water bowls, dog and cat crates, Advantage, Frontline, Heartgard, leashes, bedding, blankets, towels, bleach, brooms, mops, a working but used computer, and monetary donations!! You can drop your donations off at Regency, Petsmart or contact 904-708-0767. Financial donations can be made right here! Click on the "Make a Donation" button above.
