If you have found a stray animal and it has owner or rabies tags, please contact the owner or the veterinarian that gave the shots. If you have found a stray animal with K9Kat2 Rescue ID Tag, please call or email us. For all other strays, please give the owner an opportunity to reclaim them by immediately taking the animal to the City Animal Control closest to where the animal was found. They can scan the animal for a microchip and will post the animal on their website so it may be promptly reclaimed by its owner. Thank you for caring!

K9Kat2 Rescue adoption events are held the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Saturdays of each month.
Our Next Adoption Event will be Saturday, February 11th, 2012 at
Carrollton Petco - Josey Lane just north of the George Bush Tollway and Trinity Mills. Click here for map and directions.
Adoption fees are: $125 for Dogs / $85 for Cats. Adoption fees help defer the cost of services performed prior to adoption i.e. veterinary exam and testings, spay/neuter, viral vaccinations, rabies vaccination, and microchipping.
Please note, K9Kat2 Rescue does not place animals outside the Dallas-Ft Worth area.

We are an all breed dog and cat rescue group in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill, foster home organization that has no paid staff.
K9Kat2 Rescue was founded by animal lovers who saw adoptable animals euthanized because they were not placed quickly enough through the public system. We offer those animals a second chance to find a loving home.
All K9Kat2 animals have their medical needs addressed, are placed in loving foster homes and are cared for until a permanent home is found.
We strive to educate the public on Spay/Neuter, proper animal training, and humane animal care.
All of our animals are kept in foster homes until adoption. Please consider becoming a foster home for an orphaned pet.
