is a male neutered lab mix (47lb) about 5-7years old, loves to play ball and was raised with 4 children. He needs some work with leash walks, but is getting much better.
He just wants to run and play. He knows sit and stay, down and will give you his paw. To adopt him, please email us requesting an application at adopt@hopefortheanimals.org.
URGENT NEED FOR FOSTER HOMES!
We need your help! We are in urgent need for anyone who is willing to open their homes, even for just a few weeks.. We are currenly inundated with cats and kittens--kitten season just didn't end this year! Foster homes are desperately needed for cats and dogs, and for abandoned cats and kittens who have been left out in the cold. If you can help us by fostering, please call 215-945-2160 or email us at: fostering@hopefortheanimals.org.
Adopt A Friend From Us!
Click on the link below to view our current pet list. Email us at: adopt@HopefortheAnimals.org to request and application or fill one out at the PetSmart In Fairless Hills, PA.
We ask for a $75 donation to adopt a cat or dog. All of our dogs or cats are altered unless they are not old enough to have undergone the surgery yet. We will require you to bring a young animal in to be fixed when they are of an age to do so. If an animal is especially large or has special pre-adoption needs, we may require a larger donation due to the costs that we may have incurred while the animal was in our care.

WHO WE ARE
Hope for the Animals is a no-kill, nonprofit dog and cat rescue organization located in Morrisville, PA (just north of Philadelphia). Our goal is to find loving, safe homes for unwanted dogs and cats of all breeds. We operate strictly from donations and with the help of many volunteers, which we are always need.
We do not currently have a shelter--though we are working hard towards that goal! We have a cat room where some of our cats can be seen at the PetSmart in Fairless Hills, PA. All of our cats are also listed on the internet. Dogs can be viewed on the internet as well, or by making an appointment with us once your application is approved. We keep current pictures of all available animals at PetSmart

To Place an Animal on our List
We do not have a shelter for dogs, and our waiting list for cats in the PetSmart cat room is long. You must hold onto the animal until we place it into a new home, or until a cage in the cat room opens up for a cat placement.
We will post a picture on our website, as well as display it at PetSmart in Fairless Hills. We will also place a picture in the local newspapers.
We almost always find new homes, although sometimes it does not happen quickly. We ask that people surrendering animals be patient and know that we are doing all that we can.
When we find a potential adopter, we ask you to bring the animal to PetSmart to meet them. They will have already passed our application screening. If all goes well, the animal will go with the new owner, or we will make other arrangements as necessary. If they are not
interested, the animal returns home with you until we can find another successful applicant, or until a cage is ready for a cat in the cat room.
If you need to find a new home for a cat or dog, please contact us at 215-945-2160, or email: surrender@HopefortheAnimals.org. You will be sent instructions regarding our policies, and we will let you know what information we need from you. This will include a current digital photograph. This picture is critical! We are currently charging a $40 listing fee for all pets. When your pet is adopted you will receive $20 of the listing fee back. This charge is to help with our administrative costs and also to ensure that people let us know if they have found a home for their pet on their own. Many times we have someone contact us about a specific pet and we will call and find out a home was already found for that pet. It slows down our process and could potentially hurt another animal's chance at finding a forever home.
All animals must be up to date with shots and altered. Cats must be tested for feline leukemia/FIV before they can be taken in, and we will need all available medical records on both cats and dogs. We do not accept drop off's of any kind at PetsMart. We ask that you please follow the proper procedures.
PLEASE REMEMBER:
If you rescue just one animal you won't change the world, but you will change the world for that one animal!
