Our vet bills are extremely high, and we need your help to get them down!!
Most of the animals come in sick, or needing some sort of extra care, then they need to be spayed or neutered, vet checked, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption. As well, HomeFinders has a number of permanent or semi-permanent special needs animals in our care; Jax, Azlan and Rodney. These animals all have tremendous personalities and tonnes of love to give, however, daily costs are HUGE and we need your help!
Please consider making a donation in any amount to help us help them - $5 or $500, any bit helps!!

After viewing our pets here on Petfinder, you may wonder how you can come meet one of our wonderful animals! HomeFinders does not have a physical shelter, we are operated through a network of commited foster homes who have stepped up to give these animals a second chance! Once we have recieved your application we will set up a time for you to meet the animal(s) you are interested in at their foster home, where you can also talk to their foster-parent and find out all the little details! Although many animals are housed at our main foster location in SE Vancouver, we do have fosters throughout the Lower Mainland - so some kitties may be fostered in Burnaby, New Westminster, Surrey, etc.
We can always use help, and are grateful for all that we recieve! There are a couple of ways you can easily help us;

Donations of TIME
We can also use volunteers who can give up some of their free time; typically we may need volunteers to transport food, supplies, or animals. We also need volunteers to hang out with the "Condo Kitties" at our main foster location in SE Vancouver - just cuddling, brushing, and maybe a bit of cleaning! And of course we always need loving, commited foster homes!
Supplies!
We welcome donations of all pet supplies; pet food, litter, bedding, toys, and especially carriers, crates and beds as well as flea control products, etc. Just about anything you could give us, we can put to great use! Please contact us for details!
HomeFinders Animal Rescue Society is a registered not-for-profit organization operating in the Greater Vancouver area of BC, established in 1998. We aim to help all animals, and in the process, educate the public and help control the animal overpopulation problem! HomeFinders is a no-kill rescue, and we have limited space to take on new pets. A large focus of our rescue involves adopting animals from rural areas of Northern BC into new, loving homes in Vancouver.
