UPCOMING 2014 Events

March 15, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  DOGTONA at Hendricks County Fairgrounds Expo Hall, 1900 E. Main St., Danville, IN.  A fun event for DOGS and their owners.  Games, Talent Show, Competition, Doggie Dash, Massage Clinic, Psychic readings all for DOGS!!!!  Call 745-3338 for more information.

Adopting A Friend

Cat adoptions fee varies by age.  Please contact us if you have any questions.

 

Dog adoption fees are $125; includes microchip.  

All animals are spayed or neutered & receive the appropriate vaccinations, deworming, heart worm testing if adults, & feLv testing for cats.

Company Overview

Hendricks County Humane Society (HCHS) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization which was founded in 1972. We are a volunteer-based organization, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that is served by Hendricks County business people and citizens. Bylaws and Board Policy, provide the foundation, as well as direction, for HCHS endeavors.

HCHS programs are funded by donations, fundraising events, grants, bequests, supporterships, and memorial contributions. We do not receive tax money or government assistance. Our programs are dedicated to the purpose of "Finding Home, Saving Lives."

Adoption Events every Sunday and the first Saturday of each month.  These events are held at 3033 East Main St., Danville, IN from noon to 4 p.m.

We are open Mon, Wed, & Fri from Noon - 4pm OR by appointment.  We always have cats available in our building for adoption.
