We would like to welcome you to Haralson County Animal Shelter and Animal Control. Our shelter is located in Buchanan, Georgia. Coming off of I-20 west, take exit 11 (Bremen), and go north on Hwy 27 for about 7-8 miles until you reach Business 27 on the left. (you will know you are there when you see the railroad crossing.) Business 27 is the road on the left immediately before you cross the railroad. Go about 1 mile and take a left at the "Big Bull". The road is Macedonia Church Rd, but this over sized black bull statue is a great landmark. We are on the left right past the County's Public Works Dept. at 1795 Macedonia Ch. Rd. Monday - Thursday: 12pm - 5pm
Friday: Closed to Public
Saturday: 12pm-5pm
Sunday: Closed to Public
We have been open since July 11, 2005. Our adoption fee is very reasonable and all GA State and County Laws do apply when adopting an animal. We welcome any licensed rescue groups, but please have a current copy of your License when you come and who is able to pull from that license. Sorry, we cannot hold any animals.
