 Brooks Brooks is a friendly and very active cat. He likes lots of attention and to play. He gets along with other cats and his best friends are two dogs.

Who We Are


Greyfoot Cat Rescue is a non-profit, all volunteer organization founded in 1998 in order to assist the homeless cats of Ventura county. Greyfoot has rescued, rehabilitated, spay or neutered and placed thousands of cats since established. We also have created a rural sanctuary for unwanted cats with special needs.

Accomplishments to Date:

  • Over 5000 cats and kittens adopted to responsible families through our adoption centers at PETsMART and PETCO in Ventura. All homes visited prior to adoption.
  • Hundreds of feral cats have been humanely trapped, neutered and returned to their colonies.TNR.
  • Greyfoot has created a rural sanctuary for 37 special needs and feral cats. All cats that enter our sanctuary lead quality lives in a tranquil environment.

Adopting a Friend


We require an application and home visit. All cats are tested for felv & fiv, micro-chipped, wormed, fvrcp boosters, anything they need we give them. We treat for illnesses with antibiotics and fluids. All rescues are seen by a veterinarian.


Come Visit Us!


 Cats can be viewed every day of the month at our adoption center at PETsMART Store address: 4840 Telephone Rd Ventura, CA/ at the 101 Freeway. All donations benefit cats in Greyfoot's adoption program and sanctuary.
