Our Featured Pet...

Dante!!

Dante came to us from Tazewell, VA where he was dumped by his owner's family after his owner died. He is around 6 to 8 years old but acts much younger. He wants desperately to be loved and is very anxious to please. Please contact us if you would like to give Dante a second chance by considering him for that vacant spot in your home and heart!

In Loving Memory...

Lucy

Our little Lucy recently lost her battle with a gastro-intestinal virus. This poor little girl had just arrived in her foster home from a rural shelter and became ill her first night. We rushed her to the emergency clinic, where they kept her on IV fluids and antibiotics, as well as medication to settle her tummy. We transferred her to our regular vet, and they continued this treatment for several days. Poor little Lucy was a trooper, but was too weak and her condition too poor to fight the virus. She gave up the fight. Rest in peace, sweet Lucy. You're suffering no more. We will meet again at the Rainbow Bridge.

The first picture of Lucy is the way she looked when she was first pulled from the shelter. Lori, our wonderful contact at this shelter, couldn't stand to see her in this condition and borrowed some grooming instruments to clean her up. Lucy slept in Lori's bed that night and knew love and caring for a short time. Thank you, Lori, for all the TLC you gave to our girl! And many thanks to Jody, her foster mom, for providing a pampered and caring environment for Lucy, even if it was for such a short time.

Our vet bills for Lucy's treatment total nearly $1500. This is much more than our small rescue has on hand, so we are paying with our credit cards. If you would like to help, please donate by clicking the button below. All donations go directly to Lucy's bills. Thank you for caring!

Who We Are

Fuzzy Face Rescue is a non-profit organization comprised of a small group of volunteers . We are not a shelter and do not have a facility. Animals in our care are placed in foster homes where they receive medical attention and lots of love until they are adopted. We assist the community with re-homing their pets as well as finding the perfect pet for those wishing to provide a permanent home for an unwanted animal. We also assist shelters and rescue groups, both near and far, when they are overwhelmed and need help finding places for their animals. We support shelters and frustrated families by being a resource for training, veterinary help or rescue contacts. We feel that spay/neuter is the only way to solve the pet-overpopulation problem, and promote pet alterations everywhere we go.

Our goal is to help our communities' residents and our adopters be the best humane beings they can be by providing: compassionate temporary home care; healthy adoptable animals; information, understanding and education; spay and neuter information and programs.

We rely primarily on donations to fund our work. All donations are tax-exempt! If you would like to donate to FFRNN, please click the button above. You can also help by shopping through IGive.com as a percentage of what your spend when you shop online will benefit us! Just click on the link below to get started.

Adopting a friend

Please contact us for an adoption application. Our adoption fee is $250. All of our pets are spayed or neutered before adoption unless they are too young, in which case a neuter agreement will need to be signed by the adopter along with the adoption contract.

Come Visit Us!

Since we have no facility, we require that potential adopters have an approved application before meeting our pets. Please contact us to set up an appointment for a meeting once your application has been approved.
