Animal Intake
I am NOT accepting new animals into my rescue as of June 2007. I will take back any animals previously adopted from me as always, but no new pets.
Who We Are
I have worked in shelters for 5 years. After leaving that world behind I still had the desire to help unwanted and homeless animals. So now I rescue dogs/puppies when I can from various high intake shelters or puppy mill auctions to give them a much better chance of finding a home. I do not take in cats/kittens at this time. I also do not currently take in owner surrenders, that may change someday. I feel those animals have homes and are usually not in danger of being euthanized like shelter dogs are. I have a soft spot for German Shepherds, but I also take in other breeds/mixes.
Some dogs listed on my site are housed in some friends' foster homes. I will specify on that dog's page whether they are a part of my rescue or not. If they are not and you are interested in that dog, contact the person
listed or e-mail me for an application which I will pass on to that dog's foster home.
Adopting a friend
E-mail me for a pre-adoption application which can take a few days to process once I receive it back. Any that are incomplete will add more time to this estimate. After that (pending approval) I will set up a time for you to meet the pet you are interested in. I will adopt out of state but you MUST come here to meet the pet and finalize the adoption in person - I do not ship nor do I arrange transport. Adoption fees vary and will be listed on that pet's notes.

I have no shelter, I do this out of my home so you will need to apply first to be able to meet an adoptable pet by appointment.
