Ellie is a Greyhound mix looking for a forever family of her own
Our next Adopt-A-Pet for dogs will be held Saturday, July 5th at the Frisco PetSmart from noon until 5:00 pm.
And to see the animals that have already found new homes.... Happy Tails
Come join us on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays of the month at Frisco Petsmart from 12 noon until 5 p.m. In order to adopt one of our dogs, you will be asked to fill out an adoption application and be prepared for a home visit by one of our volunteers - for this reason we do not adopt to anyone living beyond a reasonable driving distance of Frisco. The cost to adopt a dog is $165. Every animal will be current on age-appropriate vaccinations and spayed/netuered and all dogs will be microchipped.
CATS can be seen in the Frisco Petsmart, and at the EAST PLANO PETSMART every day!! Volunteers will be available on Saturday and Sunday to answer questions, and help you to adopt your cat or kitten! All cats are $100 to adopt. Not all cats pictured in Petfinder will be at our adoption center each week, so please send an email inquiry.
FRISCO PETSMART is located on Preston Road and Gaylord, two lights North of Highway 121, next to DSW Shoe Warehouse, and Ross, behind SuperTarget.
PLANO PETSMARTis located at I-75 (Central Expy) and Parker, on the east side of the highway.
MEDICAL EMERGENCY FUND: Your adoption fee barely covers our routine medical expenses: Spay/neuter, immunizations, bordatella vaccines, heartworm test and preventative, microchipping, FIV & Felv tests, and deworming medications. When we get animals with extra medical expenses, such as heartworms, broken bones, and dental needs, our funds quickly go into the red. That's why groups like ours must also ask for donations.
By sending your tax-deductible donation to:
FRISCO HUMANE SOCIETY
P.O. BOX 2655
FRISCO, TX, 75034
it will be possible for us to pay our medical bills and continue to rescue dogs and cats that require extra medical attention.
Frisco Humane Society is a non-profit 501(c)3, all volunteer organization committed to the welfare of homeless animals in Frisco and the DFW metroplex. We do not have a shelter. All of the animals we rescue are cared for in volunteer foster homes until they can be placed in permanent homes. FHS provides all necessary medical care for each animal including vaccinations, microchipping (dogs), deworming, heartworm test and treatment if necessary, feline leukemia test, spay or neuter before adoption.
Those interested in adopting a cat or dog will be asked to complete our adoption questionnaire and must be prepared for a home visit by one of our volunteers. The adoption fee is $165 for dogs and puppies, and $100 for cats and kittens ($135 effective 12/01/2007).
There are always cats for adoption at the ADOPTION CENTER in the Frisco PetSmart. Frisco Humane Society cats can also be seen at the East Plano PetsMart at I-75 (Central Expy) and Parker (on the east side of the highway).
