* to provide a temporary home for stray, unwanted, and abused companion animals of Northwest Illinois
* to create an aware and caring society by educating the public in the humane care and treatment of animals
* to promote spaying and neutering to reduce pet overpopulation
* to promote animal welfare throughout the county
Friends Forever Humane Society is a non-profit animal welfare organization, not an animal rights organization. We do not take a stand on hunting, furs, or other animal rights issues. We remain focused on the welfare of companion animals. Our shelter does not receive funding from city, county or state taxes.
