We are now doing offsite adoptions at Petco in Hixson on selected Saturdays from 1:00 - 3:00. We are planning our next visit on February 20. We would love you to come by and check out some of our lovable dogs available for adoption. You just may find your next best friend.
Are you looking for a low cost spay/neuter opportunity? Check out the spay mobile at Petco in Hixson. They plan to be there again on February 23. I took 2 dogs in January. I dropped them off at 8 and picked them up at 4. Each dog was altered, had a DHLPP, heartworm test and rabies. The total bill for each dog was $85. You can still buy the 2010 Adventures Coupon books. For the Love of Dogs is selling these Dining and Entertainment books as a fundraiser. The books are $30 and they contain over 100 Buy One Get One Free Certficates. These include restaurants, music, theatre, attractions and sports. The book will pay for itself after using several coupons. These books also make wonderful gifts for the holidays. Contact Pam at fortheloveofdogs@bellsouth.net to get your 2010 Adventures Coupon Book. We have locations all over the Chattanooga area to pick up books. Coupons include places in Chattanooga, Dalton, Cleveland, and Cumberland County Playhouse.
The adoption fee for all dogs is $150 if adopted locally. Out of area adoptions are $200 plus a transport fee . This includes spay/neuter, all vaccinations, heartworm check, deworming, and flea/tick preventative.
Who We Are
For the Love of Dogs was founded because of our commitment to finding permanent homes for dogs tha have been abandoned. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization approved through the IRS. All donations are tax deductible. Funding is strictly through donations. Donations are always welcome and can be in the form of a monetary donation or donations of blankets, sheets, toys, dog treats, etc. For more information about adopting or donating, please contact Pam Vandergriff at forthelovedogs@bellsouth.net.
