Matthew is a 3 year old male who was hit by a car and is recovering from a fracture in the lower back/hips. Matthew is in a quiet foster home where he is gaining weight and healing. He is a well behaved little guy and is learning to use a doggie door. Matt has been around other dogs and is playful and interactive. He loves attention and is not aggressive. He weighs 21 pounds and as a 3 year old he won\'t get bigger. |

2010-02-05 Urgent Message Regarding Fostering
We do not take in pets from the public at large. We foster highly adoptable pets from the Springdale Shelter only.
2009-02-05 February FPS Meeting Scheduled
The next meeting will be Wednesday February 17th at 6 PM at Jose's (540 and Sunset in Springdale). We now meet on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6 PM, the location may change until we find a fixed location. Hope to see everyone there!
2009-06-02 Seeking Volunteers!
For Pets Sake is actively recruiting volunteers. The following volunteer positions are available:
- Office Support
- Public Relations
- Foster Homes
- Event Support and Fundraising
For more information about these volunteer positions, please call or e-mail us at forpetsake@hotmail.com and we will be happy to send you a brochure with descriptions of the duties performed by each position. The brochure includes a request form you can fill our for a volunteer application.

Who We Are
For Pet's Sake is a tax-exempt organization promoting animal welfare in Northwest Arkansas. We are located in Springdale, Arkansas. Our mission:
- Aiding the elderly with pet expenses (Northwest Arkansas only).
- Starting a discount microchipping program for all adopted pets in the NWA area.
- Raising public awareness of animal welfare through educational programs in area schools.
- Finding permanent homes for homeless and stray pets through fostering.
- Network with other animal welfare organizations
Adopting A Friend
All pets adopted through For Pets Sake are:
- Profiled for better personality matches.
- Up-to-date on vaccinations.
- Spayed/neutured or will be when mature enough.
- Insured for one month free of charge.
