PRINCE MAX is a 3-year old PB. AKC Registered Sable/white Pembroke Welsh Corgi who was relinquished by his owner when they had a new baby in the home. Max does not like small children. Max is current on all of his vaccines, neutered, microchipped and ready to go to his new home. Max has a wonderful personality, loves to play, and a fantastic disposition. He gets along well with other dogs, older children and adults. He is housetrained and loves to be by your side. A fenced yard is a must for Max as he needs a place to run without being tied to a tether. An invisible fence is not acceptable Max is very smart, learns quickly and would do well as a therapy dog. Max's adoption donation is $300.00. If you are interested in Max, please e-mail Carol at cbrickner5006@gmail.com or call 937-609-4707 or 937-313-9931 for further information. Max would love a new home by Thanksgiving so he can give thanks to the people who adopted him. Max is waiting for your call. An adoption application is required and can be filled out by clicking

My husband and I started Corgi Rescue when we lived in the State of Washington. After we moved to Ohio, we decided to continue rescuing Corgis and Corgi mixes. We are both retired, have five Corgis of our own, and our goal is to make sure that no Corgi or Corgi mix is put to sleep, but has the promise of a good home. We love our dogs and want the absolute best for them.
Since we started Corgi Rescue in June of 2004, we have placed many Corgis, Corgi mixes and other breed mixes in forever loving homes. We are proud of our accomplishments and look forward to continuing our work with the shelters, pounds and owner turn-ins so no dog will be without a good home.
All of our dogs are current on vaccines, rabies, heartworm checked, neutered or spayed, on Frontline Plus and Heartgard. Any other medical problems have been addressed and are treated.
We have now instituted a new "Trial Basis Program" This program gives the adoptive family a week's trial with the dog to see if the family is happy with the dog and the dog is happy with the family. This is important in that both the dog and the family should bond with one another.
We are a small rescue and can only take a few dogs at a time. We strive to find homes that can foster our dogs until the perfect adoptive family comes along. We are always looking for foster parents for our dogs. If you would be interested in fostering one of our dogs, please e-mail or call us. Your help would be most appreciated.
When thinking about the adoption of a dog, you should consider the area needed for the dog to run and play. Are the children too small to take responsibility for the dog? Can you handle the financial responsibility? How long will the dog be in the house without being let out? etc.
In order to be considered as a prospective adoptive pet parent, an adoption application must be filled out and returned to us. Vet references along with personal references will be checked along with a home visit. Applications are considered on a first come first serve basis. If you have been selected as the family to adopt one of our dogs, we will be in touch with you and an adoption contract will be filled out and signed on the day you come for your companion animal. We require an appointment to see our adoptable dogs.
We are an IRS 501(c)3 registered charity, so your Donations are TAX-DEDUCTIBLE.
