Natural beauty, inside and out, this dog is awesome. Meet our Ms. Roni. She comes to us from a drop box at a rural NW Ohio shelter where she was so just left like a sack of garbage. She is about 1ish plus yrs. old, beautiful, thick dark blue coat with nice rust points. She is just a pleasure and seems to really enjoy trying to please us by eagerly attempting any new things we are teaching her. She is a bit rough around the edges about her manners, but wow is she going to be easy to work with. She is smart, quick and loving, and really has a nice temperament. Good around all the other dogs and very clean in her kennel at night to. Better grab onto this little gal, she is surely meant to be in a great home where she can have lots of love that she so deserves. UPDATE; She gets along great with all the other dogs in the foster home, which includes a small rat terrier @ 8lbs and an 11 lb. Boston/frenchie mix. She is gentle with them. She has met children as young as 5 and done well with them as well, she sort of runs into them in her attempts to play, so just a bit of tweaking there!! But she is wonderful, sweet, loving and so charming! Let her apply her charms to you and come meet this beautiful dog today!!

Who We Are

Forever Dobes is dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of Dobermans that were abused, neglected, dumped, UNWANTED and misunderstood. We are committed to rehabilitating and re-homing them into loving, safe forever homes. We treat the horrid medical conditions that some come with. We spay/neuter/deworm/h/worm test, check for other parasites and update all vaccinations. We also microchip all dog prior to placement. All dogs are medically sound unless they have a ongoing condition that needs treated. The potential adopter is made aware of this upon meeting the dog and are made aware that the condition needs further treatment. Adopting a friend

Our adoption areas are Ohio and surrounding regional states. We must be able to have a home visit done, no matter where the applicant is located. We start with the application and a complete reference checks, your personal and your veterinarian, then we do a phone interview with you and set up a home visit. We would prefer to adopt to homes with physical fences. Some exceptions are made depending on the dog and level of working dog experience by the applicant. You may email us for further requirements. We will do a background check as well. We also do a follow up visit at your home after the adoption. We do ask for an adoption fee, this allows us to continue our work and help even more dogs that require more medical care than the others. It also will help the senior dogs in our care that need more than a younger dog. No exceptions to the adoption fees. Please fill out ALL areas of the application complete with phone numbers, if no current pet make sure you put down your previous pet's vet information. This will speed up the process.

Come Visit Us!

All of our dogs are in foster care in various locations. Once the home visit is successfully completed an appointment will be scheduled for you to meet any dog that is a good fit for your family. Most of our dogs are in the Central Ohio area.
