THE ANGEL PROJECT SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAM COMPLETE

Friends of Ingham County Animals announces the successful completion of the Angel Project spay/neuter program to spay/neuter 1,000 pets owned by low-income residents in Ingham County. We have reached our goal of spay/neutering 1,000 cats, dogs and even a couple rabbits. We will no longer be accepting applications for spay/neuter assistance, but we do hope that other animal advocacy groups will develop similar programs and continue to provide these resources to the community. The need is there and without assistance our unwanted pet population will continue to grow.

VERY Special thanks to the Veterinarians, donors and wonderful volunteers who made this program possible!!!

Just the DOGS! Just the CATS!

All cats and kittens in the our foster care program have been feline leukemia/fiv tested, have all their shots, have been spayed/neutered if 4 months old or older (if younger, their spay/neuter is prepaid as part of the adoption fee), have an AVID microchip, are flea/earmite free, and are in good health. NOTE: There are other kitties listed on this website that were rescued from the shelter (and simply listed as being in "foster care"), but are not in our foster care program (they are in foster care with other people). Those foster care groups may have different adoption requirements, so please contact the person listed in the individual advertisement to learn about adopting any kitty that is in an outside foster care home. If you would like to make a donation to our foster care program, please designate that on your check. All donations are tax deductible!

FYI: Pay Pal will take a 3-4% processing fee out of your donation and send the remainder to FICAS.
