Protect your pet. ShelterCare Pet Insurance Programs

Our Mission Statement...Our Philosophy...Our Heart

FURever Friends Humane Society, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is dedicated to rescuing unwanted and abandoned companion animals from the Jones County area. These animals are acquired from owner surrenders and area animal shelters. They are fostered, socialized and nurtured in anticipation of adoption by stable forever homes. We feel that educating the public and prospective pet owners of responsible animal care and treatment is the first line of defense in decreasing the astronomical number of animals that are destroyed daily. All monies raised by our organization is used to support our cause. We are volunteers, with no paid employees and receive no funding from local or state government. Our long term goal is too purchase land and build a comprehensive animal facility. While reaching this goal we will make every effort to save as many companion animals that our foster program can accommodate. "I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. I will not refuse to do the something I can do." Helen Keller
