Our pet of the month is Sardinia
Sardinia is very active and needs to go to people who will play with her and let her exercise a lot. She really loves people so she needs to be a house dog, not a backyard dog. She just doesn't do well if left in a yard most of the day. She just gets too excited when she sees you and will jump all over you. In the house she is calm, but when she plays, she plays. Sardinia is a very sweet and happy dog. She gets along great with other dogs, too. We did find out she doesn't care for cats. She was in a foster home for awhile and did great. She also went through a 6 week on site obedience program at Dogwoods. She has learned all of the basic obedience commands such as sit, stay, etc. Dogwoods has also agreed to let her new owner go through their basic training class with Sardinia at no charge so that they can show the new owner how to continue to work with her to ensure that she is an excellent addition to any family. Sardinia's date of birth is 2-20-07.
Sardinia has been spayed, is current on all shots, is on Frontline Flea and Tick prevention, Interceptor for heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and comes with a 30 day pet health guarantee. A secure, fenced in yard is required and we will conduct a fence inspection prior to approving the adoption. The adoption fee is $95.

All of our wonderful rescues come with a 30 day pet health guarantee, 30 day money back guarantee, identification tag and collar, spayed/neutered,
microchip and all vaccinations. A secure, fenced in yard is required and we will conduct a fence inspection prior to approving the adoption. The adoption fee is $95.
