Free wellness check at Fulton-Miami County Veterinary Clinic or Fouts Veterinary Care, by appointment, to be done within 5 days of adoption. Vaccinations are NOT included. Altering is required in the adoption contract and must be done within two weeks unless delayed due to vet recommendations.
Urgent : The adoption fee is WAIVED for those animals labeled URGENT. The wellness check is still required and also the altering.
There is an urgent need for large igloo type dog houses. Also needed are Kuranda medium dog beds, an animal washing tub, an animal grooming table, Frontline, Advantage, Biospot, or PetArmor flea medicine, donations, and VOLUNTEERS.

Adoption fees : Dogs and Puppies $25, if neutered or spayed $50
Cats and Kittens $10, if neutered or spayed $50
Relinquish Fee: Dog - $20 Cat - $10
Reclaim Fees: Within the first 24 hours - $10. Each night after that an additional $5. If the animal has received vaccinations then there will also be an additional fee.
All fees are CASH only.
The Fulton County Animal Adoption and Education Center opened on October, 10, 2011 and provides services to Fulton County Animal Control and residents of Fulton County, Indiana. It receives dogs and cats from the Animal Control Officer, stray animals brought in by county residents and animals relinquished by county residents. The animals are then available for adopton.

1540 Wentzel St, Rochester,IN. Rochester is located in north central Indiana at the intersection of State Rds 14 and 25 and old US 31. Drive north on Main St ( old US 31) to E. Lucus St. Turn right (east) and drive to Wentzel St. then turn left (north).
The shelter hours are T-F, 10 am to 5 pm., Saturday 10am to 4pm., closed to the public on Sunday and Monday.
