Hi there! We are F.A.I.T.H RESCUE...which stands for Fostering Animals Into Terrific Homes. The name is new, but the members have many years of experience in rescuing cats and dogs. Our approach is a bit different than most. We intend to take rescue animals into our homes and foster them as our own until we can place them. The difference is, each animal that is adopted will help finance the next rescue. All donations may be deposited into one of our participating Veterinarian accounts, or can be made by sending a check to our post office box listed below. Since we are a true "no kill" rescue, the only time an animal will be euthanized is when one of our participating vets recommends it. We have virtually no overhead, so you will know exactly where your money is going... for animal care. Every rescue will have any vet care needed, and the cost of adopting will help to defray the cost of vet care. Any additional money will be returned to the vet account to provide funds for the next rescue. We may only do a few rescues at a time, but this ensures that we can stay in business. We will have fundraisers for other expenses, but we will not just ask for money. We will provide goods or services to you in exchange for your investments. Look for our doggy bandanas and kitty catnip toys at our participating vets' offices.
Fostering
If you feel that you would like to participate in this personally rewarding enterprise, we will always need "foster parents". Understand though, that fostering can be anywhere from one week to a year or more, until the foster is placed into a wonderful home, just like yours. A foster will be treated like one of the family. Since our animals will be "rescue only" you may have to housebreak, socialize , teach some basic commands, and leash train, as most are coming from extreme conditions. If you wish to foster or know of a true "animal emergency", please contact the number below.
Adopting a friend
To begin the adoption process contact us for an adoption application. Our adoption procedure includes an interview and home visit to find out if the dog or cat will work out with the potential owner(s) All of our dogs and cats are up to date on shots and spayed or neutered when adopted out.
