We have several young dogs that have came under our care early in July 2009. They look to be small Chichauhau & Manchester Terrier mix dogs but are full of energy and need love and attention. Check us out and help if you can.
Happy Tail
One of our newest members, Bonnie, was abandoned with her 3 sisters by the side of the road. They were found around the 4th of July holiday and were estimated to be only 4 weeks old. After taking them in, going through 2 flea baths and 3 wormer treatments, they were all doing well enough that a family from Tell City, Ind was able to take her in. She has found a "forever home" and is another very happy puppy with lots of love and attention.
A short email from the family has confirmed the adoption.
Hello DreamWalker Pet Rescue,
Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that Bonnie has settled right in our home. She is doing wonderful on her potty training and so far has had no accidents. I just take her out about every two hours and she is doing great. She is taking over the house already, and has taken control of our two Boston Terriers already. She is the domant one already, over them both which really surprised me but they do not seem to mind being bossed around by her at all. She plays really well with our younger Boston Chloe, but can put her in her place if needed. It is actually quite fun to watch her at work since she is so small and they are so much larger than she is, they gladly give up their toys for her and everything. My daughter is madly in love with her and she is with my daughter, they are a perfect match. She snuggles under the covers at night with her. Please don't worry about her, we will take really good care of her. Our animals are very important to us and we want them to be happy and healthy and well loved. Thanks again for giving us the oportunity to give Bonnie her forever home.
Who We Are
We are a small farm in Central Tenn that raises Tennessee Walker horses. We care about our family and do not turn anyone away. Most of our family was abandoned on our doorstep. Our family has grown so large we need to find loving "forever" homes where love, attention, and their individual needs will be met.
Adopting a friend
You can call or email us about any of our family. There is an adoption application that we will make available. Expect an interview and possibly a pre-adoption visit with the member of your choice. The adoption fee ($75) is low to help defray a portion of our cost of care. All our adoptees are current on their shots and will be neutered by the age of 6 months unless adopted sooner.
