Hiccup was found as a stray and he was not claimed. He can be a pleasant liitle guy that loves to be on your lap. He can be a bit a of a snark, if he doesn't want to do something he won't and let you know by tryin g to bit you. He is good with other dogs as long as they 'don't run around' then he wants to play and bite the back of their legs while trying to get their attention. He is a playful and REALLY knows his name. He weighs about 8 lbs and is about 4 years old. He needs to have someone to work with him and make him feel secure, he does not do well with children of any age. He has been on a special diet for IBS but because of his size he eats very little so the cost isn't that much. His adoption fee is $250 All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee along with an adoption kit . Application REQUIRED. We take the applications in the order that we receive them. Adoption fee required. If interested contact Denise @ (717) 469-7325 The FIRST STEP to be considered for adopting a pet is to fill out the adoption application COMPLETELY .

Click HereHOW YOU CAN VISIT or SEE THE PETS:The Dogs' Den is a rescue, NOT a shelter. The dogs and cats are all kept in several foster homes. We do not have a kennel. We show all animals by APPOINTMENT ONLY ( NO EXCEPTIONS ). If you would like to see the pets up for adoption you can call or email us to make the arrangements. We do not want you to drive all the way to our place and the dog or cat is not here for you to see. I'm sure your time is just as important as ours.ADOPTING A FRIENDTO ADOPT ONE OF OUR PETS: ( PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO DELIVER ALL OF OUR OWN DOGS SO BECAUSE OF THE PRICE OF GAS WE NEED TO LIMIT TRAVEL TIME TO 3 HOURS. ) Please complete the Adoption Application at the top of The Dogs' Den home page or E-mail the adoption coordinator listed with the pet's notes. Please include in your e-mail the pet you are interested in, your name and address & whether this address is a house or an apartment, your phone #, the number of people in your household and their ages, information on other pets currently in your care, and is there any history of previous pets. We also require three references (other than family) & your veterinarian (please provide name, address, & how we can reach them). We DO require that all other pets currently in the household BE FIXED prior to an adoption from our organization. If they are not fixed you must be willing to sign a spay/neuter agreement to get the pet fixed within 3 months or you will be required to return the pet you adopted if you do not follow through with the agreement. An adoption fee is usually required which covers the cost associated with the pet.All of our pets are altered, veterinarian checked, current on all vaccinations, heartworm tested, microchiped and on preventive meds. All necessary procedures have been performed as recommended by the veterinarian. Since our pets live in foster homes, most are crate trained, house-broken, and understand most basic commands, we evaluate the pets to find them the best match for the new home. We offer a money back guarantee with all of our pets, and we stand behind them 100%.
