Our Featured pet(s) for the month of November is Bailey! He's a 2 year old yellow lab mix. Very sweet boy that loves to go for long walks. He's Neutered, microchipped & UTD on his vetting.

We currently recieved an SOS from a woman that was pulling dogs/puppies from high kill shelters for a rescue to take in, last miniute the rescue she was pulling for backed out, she already had close to 60 dogs at her home. The puppies she pulled are now teenagers, so they are past the cute and cuddly and no one seems to want to help her. I've posted some of what she has up, they are all young 2 yrs and younger, all will be completely vetted before adoption is complete. If you see the perfect dog for you, or if you are a rescue and want to help PLEASE contact me!!
You can also visit Lenoir County SPCA . This is one of the shelters we pull from as they are a kill shelter.
Who We Are
Furry Angels Rescue is a small network of people that are tired of seeing perfectly wonderful animals euthanised due to careless owners. We rescue & adopt out dogs/puppies, cats/kittens, & many other creatures.
We like to have people pre-approved, both for the safety of the animals, foster home & for the potential adopter.

Adopting a friend
Please let me state that ALL animals will have appropriate vetting for their age and all canines and felines will be altered before going to their new homes.
Our adoption process is fairly easy, first you email us about an animal your interested in. We will send you more information (if we can provide any or if you have any questions) and an adoption application. Once we recieve the application back we read it immediatly, and call any and all references asap.*****Please note, this could take a day or two depending how fast we get a response from references. *****
Once approved we will contact you to make an appointment for you to meet the potential new pet. Please note, we do take more than one application on each animal and try to choose the home that best fits the animal; also if a diffrent animal other than the one you've applied for fits you better we will tell you, and ask if you want to meet them as well or instead.
If you come meet the pet and it doesn't work out, then no hard feelings, we'll be happy to help you look for one. But if it is a match it's a great day for us and for the animal.
Note: some animals may not be ready to go home the same day, but we try to have everyone ready to go by the time the meeting process has begun.
Home Visits!!! We do require home visits, if you live too far for us to check we ask a more local rescue to do so, so please don't act shocked if someone calls to schedual one.
