The Valley Humane League is in need of donations to help keep our animals warm through the winter. We need:
Straw for the outside kennels
Blankets
Dog sweaters/coats
Donations of dog or cat food and toys are always appreciated.
Adopting A Friend
Adopters are encouraged to come visit The Valley Humane League and meet the pet(s) of their choice. Adopters are required to fill out an application or pass a verbal application over the phone.
Who We Are
The Valley Humane League has been here for animals, families, and communities since 1981. In the last 30 years, VHL has helped thousands of San Luis Valley animals. VHL provides low cost/no cost services to community members and organizations. VHL relies on donations from community members and actively pursues grant monies.
Come Visit Us
The Valley Humane League welcomes visitors 10am-3pm Wednesday thru Saturday. Appointments are available.
