Introducing: Pumpkin and Madonna...

Canine & Kitty Co-op has two wonderful dogs to announce! This week, we have two sweeties that are in need of a home or a foster home...Pumpkin and Madonna.
Meet Madonna! This stunning and muscular pitbull is sweet and very playful. She was pulled off deathrow after being held as "evidence" in an animal cruelty case. Ironically, after the owner was prosecuted, she was no longer of any use to the courts and was sentenced to be put down! She is just another victim of the anti-pitbull hysteria and was given no chance at a normal happy life after being chained to a fence w/no shelter for years! Despite the dismal life she had, Madonna never stops smiling and loves to chase balls and grab towels away from you when you try to dry her after a bath! She is about 5 yrs old and 65 lbs. of pure muscle! She gets along w/her fellow foster dogs, but would be best if placed as the only dog due to her size and strength. Pumpkin is a 3 yr old Staffordshire Bull Terrier / Am Staff, possibly english bulldog mix. She is fairly small (about 35 lbs.) and wins everyone's hearts at all our adoptions! She gets along great with other dogs, male and female. She doesn't seem to care for cats. She is looking for a forever home where she can exchange love and kisses all day long! Who We Are

Canine & Kitty Co-op is a coalition of individual rescuers that exists to assist individual rescuers and pet people in saving the lives of dogs, cats, bunnies, and any other animal in need. Responsibilty for the individual pets lies with the individual guardians of each animal. Our goal is to help find a safe, permanent, and loving home for the animal.

Adopting a friend

If you are interested in adopting a pet, please contact the rescuer that is below the pet's photo. There will be a nominal donation fee that covers the cost of vaccinations, spay or neuter, possible medical bills, and general care for the dogs.
