About Our Animals

At this time, we are not accepting owner relinquished animals, unless they were initially adopted from our program. We are currently at capacity.

While most of our animals are in foster care, you will notice some pictures that do show an animal in a cage. These animals are either available for adoption at PETsMART, or their picture has been uploaded from Champaign County Animal Control and an updated photo will be added once we have a free moment.

Where do our animals come from? Champaign County Animal Control, hoarding situations, outdoors (strays), feral kittens we've trapped, and abandoned animals in this community.

Who We Are

We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit NO KILL rescue aiming to curb pet overpopulation in Champaign-Urbana. We are licensed through the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

featured cat

Featured Pet: Megan Marie

Meet large and lovely Megan, a brown/orange spayed and front declawed Torbie. She is about 2 to 3 years old. She would do best in a quiet home, since loud noises tend to startle her. She is not crazy about other cats, either. Megan is not a fan of being picked up or roughly-handled, but she loves to hang around and let you know that she does love you.
