Our Adoptable Pet List

Our Featured Pet... Annie!

Oh Hai! My name is Annie and I am a sweet one year old "cow cat" looking for a home, home on the range! Is it possible that you can resist my beautiful green eyes? I think NOT!

Come and visit me at PetSmart in Wilmington TODAY!

Our Organization

We are dedicated to:
  1. Finding new homes for cats and kittens.
  2. Reducing the cat overpopulation problem by spaying and neutering.
  3. Promoting the need for more responsible cat ownership.

The Cat Adoption Team has found homes for thousands of cats over the years! We do not have a shelter and all cats are cared for in volunteer foster homes until a forever family is found.

We accomplish this with much help from our dedicated volunteers, veterinarians, and PetSmart for donating their Luv-a-Pet center to us.

C.A.T. always has a number of sick cats that need treatment and C.A.T. appreciates donations in order to take care of these cats.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! If you love cats and have some two hours free time at least one night a week, consider volunteering with C.A.T. All the cats will appreciate your help in finding them their permanent homes.

Adopting a friend

When adopting one of our friendly felines, we ask that you take the time and think about the 15 -20 year commitment you need to be willing to give this cat a permanent home.

You will need to fill out a C.A.T. adoption application form and sign a pet ownership contract. Your $80.00 non-refundable adoption donation helps us treat the next kitty that needs our help.

ALL CATS HAVE BEEN:

Spayed/Neutered
Checked over by a vet (though the cats are generally not tested for any diseases)
Given All Age Appropriate Vaccines
Dewormed
Treated for fleas if needed
Treated for ear mites if needed

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS

Commitment...at least 15-20 years
Lots of love, play time, and exercise
Necessary medical care (yearly exams and vaccines)
Good, proper nutrition
Safe living environment.
NOTE: An important fact that many people don't know is that cats are generally happier and healthier when they have another feline companion. Just keep in mind that sometimes it takes a while for the cats to get used to each other after the initial meeting. Please give them time to adjust. The result will be worth it.
